    Can I get the German passport if my mother was German??
    My mother was a German citizen and I was born in germany1944 from a Lebanese father. I went to school in glens burg for seven years and then moved to lebanonwhere I grew up and married and had a family. Now I would like to return to Germany and retire there because of the situation in Lebanon .I have the Lebanese passport and would like to get the German one. Is this possible??

    You have to contact the German Embassy and ask them... they may or may not permit it depending on the current eligibility requirements.
