    Trying to see daughters
My husband found out a year ago that he was the father to 2 girls that is in foster care, He has worked his case plan , passed all drugs test , anything that DFACS has asked him to do . His child support is up to date but now DFACS won't answer his calls to see his girls, this has been over 2 months now.. what can he do to see his girls ? And can they stop him from getting his girls out of foster care if my 16 yo daughter is gay ? We were told that was one of the reasons he couldn't get his girls.. what or where can we go to get this over with ? Ty so much ,

I doubt if your daughter being gay would be a stumbling block in today's world. I think that's being used as an excuse.

Do you have an attorney? Seems the case worker is prejudiced against your husband and he may need an attorney to cut through the road blocks. If you can't afford an attorney and you have proof that your daughter's sexual orientation is blocking things, then find your local gay support group. I would be surprised if they don't provide a lawyer for you.

I have called a few lawyers but they want 3500 / 5000 up front just to get in court... the only thing I have about my daughter would be a transscrpit from the court where the foster mother was talking about my daughter , the case worker told him not to worry just go with it!! How does he give up his rights while they are in foster care ? He said his girls will find him when they are old enough to do it.. we are just tired of fighting and running in a circle..

He can't give up his rights. He can choose not to exercise rights, but he can't just give them up.
