Hun you sound like this is your first real breakup... Im really sorry but I think you just need to have fun and try to forget about him... I know it is hard but when your having fun you forget about him... Maybe try just smiling at him in the halls or even just around him... Keep smiling because you never know who is falling in love with it :)

Believe me, this has happened to me with my ex too! The first thing I would do is talk to your friends about how you're feeling. Your ex will realize that you're not over him, and if he is really a jerk won't let it go about how you still like him. If you reallly like him, then I would be distant for a few weeks, but then slowly start talking and flirting with him again. (but don't get too clingy :) ) Try to have a positive attitude about things again and if he's not the right guy for you a better one will come around!

A breakup is only as hard as you make it, eating ice cream and sitting around letting your mind think is the worst thing you can do. Get out, find an activity/hobby that you love, meeting new people in the process, and opening new doors.
