    Drbill EtG question
Yep yet another one. Well the memorial day weekend bug hit me and I decided to break my 3 month sobriety streak. Problem is I am being ETG tested. I consumed about 8 drinks Thursday and not being content with that I consumed another 12 Friday night into Saturday morning at 3am. I was tested Tuesday evening at 7:00pm.

No idea on when my body stopped metabolizing the alcohol. When I woke up a 2pm I was definitely 100% sober, so if we use that point there was a good 77 hours in between (possibly more). I'm mildly active and probably did 10 miles on my bike in the days after and consumed no further alcohol.

Day of I grabbed an omni clean liquid from a headshop and consumed roughly 80 ounces of water evenly spread prior to the test. I am not too worried, but once again I messed up because kicking alcohol is very difficult for me. Wondering what my chances of passing are.

I should add that I ate virtually nothing day of (only a banana in the morning) and consumed about 6-8 cups of coffee until 11am, then switched to water. And for posters who might want to criticize me for "being dumb" I am well aware, but you probably have never had an addiction or forgot what it was like. I should add I am a small build high metabolism guy at 140 lbs and 5'9" w/ only 4% body fat and 28 years old.

At 77 hours (BAC=0) you should be EtG free. I count 88 hours from last drink.

The test seldom detects even long-term chronic drunkenness at that time interval.

ADDED: must be tired, I completely overlooked your personal data.

What is omni clean liquid and what does it do?

You mentioned above, being sober for 3 months. What do you attribute that to? That's a substantial period.

Nah I did an edit w/o saying, so you prob didn't overlook it :-)

Omni Cleansing Liquid looks like a scam, but I purchased it for a little piece of mind. Contains mainly vitamins C, B1, B2, B6, B12, creatine, riboflavin, and some other things you probably expect in a health supplement. Since it was purchased at a headshop, I think its meant for helping avoid THC detection for people who water down urine. Guy feed me some crap about how the toxins get sucked into your muscles... sounded like the weed was talking, but oh well.

Thanks for prompt response I will post results in about 1 week. I should add that according to this testing centers marketing materials they have a 100ng cutoff...

Random UAs by this treatment center is the main reason for my sobriety. Though I have been actively engaged in my treatment groups and have had a change in my attitudes towards alcohol abuse...

What do they tell you about lapses such as this. Are there punitive consequences in the event you are detected?

Treatment will lengthen for sure, could contact authorities as I am supposed to remain sober. I took a gamble not worth taking. In any case you give me that much more piece of mind w/ your assessment which is a lot for a pessimist like myself.

Sounds like it! But once you pop that top it's almost impossible to stop, isn't it?

    Believe I just waxed poetic.
