My Gillette generator has a fuel delivery problem.
I have a Gillette Gen Pro 7500 with a Honda engine. It has less than 100 hrs on it. Ever since I bought it, it has had problems stalling and shutting down. Sometimes it sputters and restarts. Most often, it just stops after an hour or two. My mechanic felt it was a fuel delivery problem so we had the carburator, gas filter, and pet cock on the gas tank changed and the tank itself cleaned. I still have the problem. I am wondering if the fuel tank isn't getting enough air. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thank you.

Make sure that the vent hole in the gas tank cap is clear so that air can enter the tank as fuel is used..

Thanks for the suggestion, but I checked that out. It is clear. There is also another vent for air and that is clear as well. I am now working on the assumption that it is a vapor lock.
