No hot water from my es650 state select hot water heater
It seems like my thermostat will need to be replaced on the upper and lower. What tools will I need and how hard is it to do?
Also, why would my thermostat go out when its only a 2004 (8 years old)?
Thanks for your help - Kevin

You first need to confirm power is reaching the stats, have you done that?

After you address Bobs concerns. Just a screwdriver. Replace one wire at a time. Wire for wire.

8 years is the recommended replacement time. I don't happen to agree. As long as the boiler don't leak everything else can be replace extending the life of the heater indefinably. I have a under the counter heater that was installed when the house was built in 1954. Good luck, Tom
