    My 6 year old son is scared of me!
    A fews ago I spanked my son on the bottom and now he fliches if I go up to him unexpectly. I feel broken hearted I just don't know what to do, it makes me feel sick that my baby is scared of me due to my own actions. Have I caused my son and our bond unrepairable damage!

    First, I want you to know that I do believe in spanking when it is appropriate.

    What did your son do to provoke the spanking? How hard was the spanking? Was it with your hand or an object?
