She should be fine. Pineapples and dogs don't mix. Their systems can't handle it.

It would be like you eating grass. Your system would rebel against it, and you'd likely get the runs and vomit for a day or two.

    Is she drinking water?

She only licks a little water. She only vomitted once this morning and the rest of the times nothing comes out. She is usually a greedy dog but has totally no appetite this morning.

Think about how you feel when you eat something that doesn't agree with you. You probably don't feel like doing much the next day, or eating much.

If she's only vomited once, then I wouldn't be too concerned.

If she still isn't eating anything by tomorrow, or is vomiting more, then I would call your vet.

    Does she have diarrhea?

So far she pooped once this morning and her stool looks normal. Can you advice what food should I feed her today as I think I should not give her any oily food. I tried giving her her usual dog biscuit but she seem not to be eating.

You could try rice and chicken, homemade. Rice is very easy on a dogs stomach. Just cook normally, as well as the chicken, remove all bones in the chicken, mix together, and voilą.

Try to mix it in with her regular food.

If she still isn't eating tomorrow, then you may need to bring her to the vet. Just make sure she has access to food, and water, and watch her stools, and behavior.

But, she should be fine. She won't feel good for a day or so, but she'll bounce back, and really, if she misses one or two meals, she should be okay. If she misses more than that, then you should be concerned. Also be concerned if she can't keep anything down, especially water, and has the runs. Those are two reasons to get to the vet immediately.

Thanks for all you advice. She is back to normal as of late last night. Yesterday evening I went to the local pet store to consult the vet stationed there. He gave me 3 sachets of Electrolytes & advised me to give it to her in stages. Just after 3 hours she was almost back to her normal self & she was able to take some soft rice boiled with some minced chicken late last night. This morning the symptoms are all gone & she is as frisky as ever... tks so much.
