Central Air Problem
My central heat and air unit stopped working properly in the winter months and we had to use the emergcy heat because no matter what temp we set the thermostat to the room would never reach that temp. Now it's around 90 degrees most days and my air conditioning isn't working properly either it really does,nt get any cooler that 80 degrees inside no matter how low you set the temp! The unit is running but just not cooling, we had freon replaced last summer so I wouldn't think it needs that again already please help I cannot afford to buy a new unit! Ok so now we have found that the copper line on the part of the unit under the house has ice on it, what could this be? We have shut the unit off.
