Hi. I need help. I installed a Price Pfister kitchen faucet and my water pressure at the sprayer has drastically decreased, especially the hot water. The faucet is the kind that has the spray head on the end of the spout, in other words it is not a separate sprayer. The old faucet was the same type, different brand but it had great pressure. The main gripe I have is that it stinks for trying to rinse dishes off. The water just kind of dribbles out of the sprayer instead of the strong stream I had with the old faucet. I only replaced it because my son broke the sprayer piece off while climbing on the sink. It was functioning fine. I don't think the problem is any kind of clog, because the problem started immediately after I installed the new unit. There are two black rubber push buttons on the head of the sprayer. The pressure is so low on the hot side that when I want to spray the hot water I have to press the "spray" button while the cold water is on, then swing the arm over to the left toward the hot, at which point I always ask myself why I paid $170 for this lousy faucet. Please help!

Welcome to the beautiful kitchen.
Take the spray head from the hose. It should simply twist off by hand. Look at the hole in the hose. That is all da water you going to get. Most people are not happy with that style of faucet for that reason. It also has 2 check valves in there. One is hidden so you can't take it out.

Over the last week the hot water pressure has dwindles even more. Water pressure everywhere else in the house is good. Please help.

What I think has happened here is that in changing out the faucet you disturbed minerals built up in the pipe walls and they got sucked up into the faucet where it's now clogging the inlet ports of the cartridge. This is a common complaint from home owners that change out out faucets. The solution is to shut t6he water off to the valve and open it up. Check and clean the inlet ports on the cartridge. Before you button back up turn the water back on for a minute to flush out any crud remaining in the supplies.
