Hi, I started going out with my ex almost 10 years ago - we met at. College and I wasn't too keen when he asked me out. After the first date I knew I really liked him & we clicked... we ended up going out for 7 years, living together for 5 of them. Things were great until we started having differences in sexual needs, it festered so much and caused me to end the relationship.

It's 3 years later, we stayed in touch for a bit but he just stopped being interested in staying in contact, we've not spoken for over a year - almost 1.5, but I still love him despite the problems that drove me to end it. He's with someone else now, but I feel I need to let him know. What should I do?

He's been hanging round with people he didn't even like while we were together (they are into drinking & drugs which he wasn't) and his girlfriend is also like this... Should I contact him & tell him how I feel & hope that he's seen the light? Or am I deluding myself? Help!

No, don't contact him, year and a half of no contact... just keep it up. Respect his relationship, respect him, and most importatntly respect yourself. Move on, an ex is an ex, even after all this time has passed, what makes you think that if you were to try it again it would go any different than it did the first time?

I think you are deluding yourself, and need to let go, as he seems to have. Like it or not he has someone else now so accept it and don't interfere or try to "SAVE" him.
