In love...
I really like this guy. I'm in love! But he doesn't feel the same way. My friend says he only thinks of me as a friend. I want to tell him how I feel, but I always chicken out. What do I do?

How old are you? In your teens? Early teens?
Fact is, if he only likes you as a friend, there's nothing you can do to change that. But, how reliable is the friend that gave you that info?
If you want to tell him, then do so. But, be prepared to hear that he's not interested, and be prepared to lose him as a friend.
If you're a very young teen, like I suspect, then you have to know that you're not really in love. You're in lust. This is one guy of many that you'll be "in love" with. So, weigh the choices. Do you value his friendship? Do you think he could care about you like you do him?
If so, then go for it. But I'd bet money that in 6 months you'll be "in love" with someone new.

My friend is very trust worthy and she will never lie to me. This is the first guy I have been in love with. I'm still confused... :(

If your friend is trustworthy, and he's telling her the truth, then there's nothing you can do about this. He likes you as a friend. That's a far cry from being in love with you. But, you could still tell him how you feel, and see how he reacts. That's really your only option.

If you don't know, then how are we supposed to know? We don't even know him.
You have two choices. You either tell him how you feel and hope that he feels the same way, or you give up and be his friend. Those are the only options. There's absolutely nothing we can do about this. We can't tell you how he feels, and we can't tell him how you feel. That's up to you, and him. So take that step, or forget about it.
Good luck.

You're welcome, and good luck.
I hope it works out, but if it doesn't, don't be too upset about it. Be his friend. You never know what will happen in the future. :)

I thought this would be interesting to discuss.
We all use love so much, we could say we love someone, then the next moment, we say we love our car, or wed love a big mac.
I was watching this interesting video, in which this guy explained that the hebrews had 3 words for love.
Raya- friendship...
