    Should I fight this ticket
I was issued a failing to yield ticket that resulted in a accident. I was making a left turn and had a green arrow light as I began to make my turn a car that ran the light and was going very fast and hit my car and totaled it but I was issued the ticket for failing to yield.

If you are making a left across traffic, then you are responsible for yielding to oncoming traffic.

IF you had a true left turn "arrow" then the other lane would have had a red light.
If that was the case, they should have gotten the ticket and Yes I would fight it.

If, you entered on yellow and was in the intersection when their light turned green, you may have been in the wrong.

If this was a green light, and they had a green light too, you would be in the wrong

I understand that I must yield but as I was making my turn there was no on coming traffic The car ran the red light and hit me and was speeding there was no way for me to be able to yield. I was already committed to the turn and could not know that someone was going to run a light.

Ok, now your post contradicts itself, if you had a turn "arrow" then you don't have to yield, since there was no green light for them to come. And the car would have ran a red light to hit you. You are not expected to "yield" to people with a red light.

Now if you both had green lights and you were suppose to yield, that is different.

If there is a green arrow, and not a green light, take a photo of it, as proof that you did not have to yield.

Yes, go take photo's showing it has a arrow, and not a green light, proving you had the right of way. Present your photo and any witness at court.
