How to affix faucet in granite counter when holes are wrong
We had Factory Sales in Bensenville install granite bathroom countertops. They installed the holes for a 4" faucet too close to the edge of the sink basin so we can't use the "bolts" to attach the faucet underneath. They won't fix the problem, so we need to figure out what else we can do to install the faucets. Are there any plumbers out there who have any suggestions? Can we silicone it and if so, will that hold? The project manager told me to look for another faucet that has a "knot in the middle" but I have not found anyone yet that understands that term.

If we push the faucets back 1/4 inch, they we can use the bolts underneath but then we have a small gap showing through where the hole is drilled to the beginning of the faucet.
    Thanks!

You sue them for the value of the granite, it is too expensive to let it go. Or give them the option to find and furnish a faucet that will work, If they know what will work, let them get it and pay for it, if they did not put the holes where they were suppose to.

Tell them it is that or give you the money back on the granite or a new piece of granite.

If they still don't do anything, small claims court and get the money back for the granite.

No silicone, it won't hold for long and will probably ruin the granite

Do you mean Factory Plaza in Bensenville IL? Is it the back wooden edge of the cabinet that is in the way?
