    State select water heater
    Probably simple question... Pilot light went out and when reset it will not stay lit. As long as I hold button down, it stays on, but will extinguish as soon as I release it. What's best troubleshoot?

    Bad thermocouple is the most likely culprit. You will have to replace it.
