    Pregnant?
I had unprotected sex (on 05/05/12) and it was 2 days after my ovulation. I took the Levonelle contraception pill 13 hours after it had happened. My period was due yesterday (16/05/12) and I haven't gotten it yet. I took a First Response Pregnancy Test an hour ago (9:00pm) and after about 20 seconds it came up with one clear line. I left it for about 3 minutes and I picked it up, I looked very very very closely at it and I could see another line, it was almost white, not even close to pink. It showed up darker after 10 minutes. They say it's invalid after 10 minutes. I'm only 16 and I have no idea what to think, or whether to know if I'm pregnant or not. Mum will shoot me.

So... you are going through the trouble of taking Basil tempreature reading daily and still having unprotected sex rather than being inconvienienced to use contraception? You are contradicting yourself because the only people doing Basil teperature charts are those seeking to become pregnant... and those who don't , really have no idea when they actually ovulate. And certainly at 16 you don't know for sure...

I think its about time you take classes in human reproduction because I see clear indications in your post you really don't have much of a clue how this works.

FIRST being having unprotected sex... (meaning you WANT to get pregnant)
SECOND... indication of a lack of basic understanding... [ Morning after pills aren't intended to be used INSTEAD OF CONTRACEPTION... indication of a lack of basic understanding... )
THIRD indication you don't have much of a clue... trying to take a Home pregnancy test only 10 days after trying to get pregnant when it takes longer than that (closer to a month) before you can expect a reliable result.

Time you talk to your mother and get you a proper education or you ARE going to find yourself pregnant very soon at this rate. Because NO form of birth control is 100% effective.

You may think I'm being hard with you... but its clear nobody has taught you these things yet... and if you want hard... try having a baby at 16 you will have to raise... and if you continue the way you have... its a certainty you WILL have a kid long before you finish school.

When that happens... kiss your life as a kid good-bye... because the responsibilities of being a parent don't allow that kind of behavior at all.

Smoothly... where do you see she's doing basal temps? I don't see that anywhere in this post.

SHe made a claim of what date she ovulated... being she's 16... (and even if she's not) there is no other way she could be certain exactly when she did actually ovulate. Second half of her first sentence.

I had unprotected sex (on 05/05/12) and it was 2 days after my ovulation
