    Stopped birth control
I have always had irregular periods and my doctor put me on birth control for about 9 months now and it has gotten to be more regular, and the past 2wks I've stopped taking it ( me and my husband trying to have a baby) and me and my husband have had unprotected sex, and this past week I have been feeling a little sick in the morning just 2 days and my feet have been getting swollen and my hands and my breasts are a little tender and my face has been getting flushed and warm and I've been tired and gassy more then usual, also I had a period for 3 days normal and it went to light. Could I be pregnant?

Anytime you have unprotected sex, pregnancy is possible. Even with protected sex, pregnancy is possible.

I know that you're trying, and if you're like me, you're probably very anxious, and every symptom you have you immediately think "could I be pregnant".

If pregnancy could be diagnosed by symptoms alone, life would be so easy. Sadly it can't. Pregnancy symptoms and PMS are almost exact. Also, a lot of pregnancy symptoms can be linked to other things as well.

In other words. The only way for you to find out if you're pregnant is to try a pregnancy test. If your period is not yet late, then wait until your period is due. If you miss it, try a pregnancy test, use first morning urine, and follow the directions exactly.

Keep in mind that it takes the average couple 1 - 2 years to conceive. It's very rare that it happens during the first month, and, you just got off the pill, so you period and your body are still adjusting. Many of the symptoms you're experiencing could also be contributed to that.

Don't get too excited, not until you have a positive pregnancy test. And don't get discouraged if it turns out that you didn't conceive this month.

    Good luck.

I do know. When my husband and I decided to try it took 7 months to conceive my son, and 10 months with my daughter. It was a long 7 months, and a long 10 months, and every single month I had that hope. I think I drove my husband crazy, and I'm pretty sure I kept the pregnancy test companies in business that year. ;)

Just don't get too excited, until you see that positive pregnancy test. Then go nuts, jump for joy. :)

    Sending baby dust your way.
