    Please help
I have a felony for theft on my record from 1994. Can't have my record sealed or expunged because I plead guilty (ughhhhhhhhhhhh). I became a CNA in 1995 and have not been in trouble before or since. I live in Florida and have an exemption letter from Dec 2010. For some reason I am having a lot of trouble finding a job since they started the level 2 background check. Does anyone have any advice?

Change job fields, go back to college. Try working for a private individual or in a area where they are not treating medicare or medicaid patients.

Most of the certification groups and awards needed to bill and be approved for payment by medicare and medicaid do not allow for felons to work in direct contact with patients.

Thus your issue and problems finding work.
