I have 27 days for my menstrual cycle. Usually once I've seen signs of blood regardless if it is spotting or not I will count it as my first day but the heavy flows will come the next day or following day. This month I started to have some spotting like Sunday and then heavy flows only came by thur and Friday. I'm not sure if I should count Sunday as my first day as it is like 4 days interval before my heavy flows. Should I count it or not? I was asking because I'm not sure now where to start counting for my ovulation day as a week after I had an unprotected sex (wednesday) and the next day I tried to take this morning after pill (72hours). So I'm not sure if it also works for me or not.. cause I was thinking even if I took the morning after pill if my ovulation period is exactly the same day when I had the intercourse it will not be effective.
