I got home from visiting my father in NY and I failed to mention that to her, yeah that was my mistake. But she turned it around on me and told me she hated me. She's been telling me hurtful things since I was around 13 or 15 when I started high school. I get it sometimes I am a pain in the butt, but she shows no emotional support to me. She thinks the worst of me in everything. I don't smoke, drink, I plan on going to college, having a career, I get good grades in school and recently joined track. She's never told me since high school started ' good job ' or ' way to go ' more like a ' that's what your suppose to do, what do you want a party?' she's even hits me when she gets mad at me and I can't take it anymore.. then she told me if I wanted she would sign the papers and let me leave, or more like leave because if I say I offers no support she wants me gone.. my father isn't really in any good condition to take care of me so like I don't know what to do.. over the years I've resulted to hurting myself, I was practically bulimic because she is a control freak (even my father agrees, which is why he left) and that's been the only way I have control..

Someone please suggest me some things I can do? This is a hostile environment.

Have grandparents? Would they be willing to let you live with them?

I'm not a doctor or a nurse but it sounds like your mom may have
Emotional and mental problems.

Has she seen a doctor or asked about depression?

If you go and live with your father would she allow it?

If she is physically abusing you and you're seventeen.. I'm not sure what you could legally do.

Have you tried talking to her?

My mother says hurtful things to me all the time too, and especially when I'm going through important events in my life which makes it worse.

Listen, do you know any of your mums friends who would help you? If so, text or call them.

How about emailing a sister or brother? An Uncle or Aunt? A friend you're really close to and whose parents are willing to help you out until you leave to university.
