I had unprotected sex the day after I took my last pill. I had missed or taken late some of the pills in the pack throughout the month. I had a period a few days later but it was very short and very light only lasting a few days. I am now exhausted all of the time and feeling nauseous. Is it possible I am pregnant.

I, too have been taking the pill, for 4 years now.

You're going to hear this time and time again.. No matter what, there is always a chance you could become pregnant - even on the pill.

If you had been taking the pills consistently throughout the packet then you would be protected during the placebo pills, too. Though normally those couple of days aren't ideal for sex since you are menstruating.

I am going to assume that you're not pregnant.That bleeding is more than likely your period, so I really would not worry too much. You can always go grab a pregnancy test to be certain, though.

On the off chance that the bleeding was NOT your period, I suppose it's possibe it could be implantation bleeding. Usually that blood is pink-ish or brown-ish and thinner than mestrual blood.
