Odd cat behaviour sitting alone in the dark
    Hi
I rescued my 2 cats from the pound about 8 months ago. I have a boy and girl brother and sister they are approx 1 year old.

The girl cat has this very strange habit of sitting in the cold dark garage for around an hour every night after dark. When I turn on the lights in the garage she is always just staring into the darkness with her face scrunched up like she's really cold and uncomfortable and when she comes out or I bring her out she seems nervous and frightened. I have never come across this behaviour before, any ideas.

I have a feeling she may have been neglected when she was a small kitten, could that be the problem?

I wonder if she sees something in there, an IR camera might reveal something in her actions?
    Good Luck
