    Hampton Bay UC7083T Remote Issue
I've read the other 3 posts about these remotes but none of them solved my problem.

My remote controls the fan functions just fine (Hi, Med, Low, Off), however, the lights stopped working from the remote. I've had to resort to unscrewing them if I want them off, and vice versa for on.

    Any thoughts on this?

When you switch the wall switch off, and back on, the lights go back on too?

Does the remote LED respond at all to the light button?

Another symptom today. I purchased a replacement remote at Home Depot, and the new remote had the same problems. So It's a receiver/fan problem, maybe?

I have similar problem. I played along with the DIP switches on the remote. Fan works (all speed) however light stays on and does not turn off with the remote. I have not bought new remote but I would like to ensure the DIP switches on the fan (if one exist) and my remote are same. Right now I have all four DIP switches in UP position. When pressing the light button, it goes RED but no action on the FAN light. Only workaround is to un-screw them or turn off from the wall, however it turns off the FAN as well. I have Hampton bay model UC7083T.
