Jobs for the summer!

I'm looking for a summer job and I was wondering
Is it possible to work at a camp as a leader or counsellor at the age of 17?
Could and/or do I have to stay on the campsite the whole
Because I don't mind stay actually I prefer it and would even voulteer for free just can't be home this summer please help
