My wife recently connected with her college ex-boyfriend. He is now a laywer and living n the same city we are in.
They text all the time, nothing bad, just typical stuff, but they are meeting almost every week for lunch.
She told me he drunk dialed her a few weeks after they started having lunch and asked where she thought things were going with him. She told me she told him 'no where', and that was that. She then said he didn't mean anything by that statement. She gets all dressed up, puts on make up and does her hair when she goes to see him. She doesn't think I know they are going to lunch, so when I ask her, she says things like 'shopping, the library, etc. SHould I be worried?

Nah not really it just seems like your wife misses the fun you guys use to have
I mean if she enjoy the fun with an old friend then maybe she wants to go out with you and such
But if its reallt on your mind confront her about don't creep and dig flat out answer

I would be concerned as to why she lies to you about going to lunch with him. She's lying about that so then what else is she possibly lying about?

Although I believe people can have platonic friends of the opposite sex, the lying and the drunk text thing would raise some questions that need to be answered in more depth.
