    Add spouse to deed
    Yes but with the different types quit claim, grant/gift how do I know which is best? Now I need to fimd a property lawyer.

    First its not a good idea to piggyback your question on another thread. This can lead to confusion. So I've moved your question to its own thread.

    When you purchased the house did you use a title company? If so, contact them. If not, do you know someone who works in a real estate office, ask them for a recommendation for an attorney. If you have a mortgage on the property, ask at your mortgage lender.
