    Immigration questions after marriage
    I have been a resident for 4 years I reside in fl. My wife and I got married last year August she came to the us on her visa last June we had our first child last sept her i94 expired last dec I filed the i130 for her last mon. Could she faced deportation?

    No she won't face deportation. Just follow up and get the proper paperwork filed.

    I have asked a lawyer and she informed me that I should wait until I become a citizen next August before I had file for my wife. She also stated that my wife is illegal in the U.S they might order her to leave the country and go home because I am a resident. Is this true, and can I also apply for a work permit for her if so under which category can I do so

    You had better ask immigration these questions. We are not immigration lawyers here. If a lawyer answered your questions, why not take the answers as fact and do what the lawyer advised ?
