I am currently three days late for my period. I know that I had sex around the time of ovulation. My period always arrives like clockwork. I can't ever remember being three days late before, save for maybe one time when I was still on the pill. I took a test last Sunday (before missed period) that was negative, a test Thursday that was negative, and a test this morning that was negative. I have slightly sore breasts and some cramping. Is it possible to be pregnant even with these negative tests?

Hello there, it is still possible, when I was pregnant with my first I never got a positive test, even at two weeks late, they found her on an ultrasound later on, and a test just before my period was due with my third was negative, it was about a day or two before, it came up really strong at 5 days late though, darker and thicker than the control line! So yes it is possible, maybe try a more sensitive test? If you're still not sure after that, or want a really accurate test go to your doctor, they can test your urine there but their tests aren't always sensitive so they may draw blood to test for hCG, the blood tests are very good at detecting pregnancy and should be accurate although nothing is infallible, but if they are all still negative be sure to check what is going on with your doctor. Negative tests are very common, you need to wait about another week and test again, if no period. Since right now you are still in the Period window and you need to wait till it should be over. Also be sure to always use the first urine of the morning.
