    What do you do if puppy doesn't drink
    My puppy is one day old and now she does not want to drink anymore what do I do

    Your pup at one day old should be nursing from mom. How are the rest of the litter? Has mom and pups been checked out by a vet?

    Is mom pushing him away or is he not latching on or is he not even trying?
    You can try physically putting him to the teet and see if he is latching on. If he still is not drinking I would take him to the Veterinarian to make sure there are no obvious physical abnormalities such as a cleft palette or hernias. When you get the all clear get some puppy replacement milk and a nurser set. since you may have to raise him by hand.
    Keep in mind that not all pups make it for whatever reasons, it's no ones fault, it is just nature.
    Some simply fail to thrive. If mom is pushing him away there is likely something wrong with him and not a survivable pup to begin with.
    Don't wait too long to get him checked if he is not drinking very soon, like today.
    Pups have no reserve and can quickly turn for the worse when not eating.
