    Pregnancy after HELLPS
    I have 4 children. With my first two pregnancies I developed preeclampsia in the last month and was induced both times. With my 3rd pregnancy, everything went all right. With my 4th pregnancy I was diagnosed with HELLPS at my 36 week doctor appointment and was induced that same day. I'm wondering if it would be safe to get pregnant again? And if so, what preventitive measures should I take?

    Your doctor would best be able to help you with making a decision. You would run the risk of developing HELLP again or pre-eclampsia so monitoring would be required. You may have neither show up in another pregnancy. It comes down to discussing the course of care if you did become pregnant to start any treatment early if necessary.
