    Ceiling Fan Gremlin
What would cause random operational changes in a remote controlled Hampton Bay ceiling fan w/o pull chains. Remote/receiver communication works fine but you can have the fan running with the light off and suddenly the light will turn on.

The most frequent reason for this is another transmitter being used eslewher or even in a neighbors home. I would try changing the dip switches in both the hand held and the receiver in the canopy
