Location to install cold air return in a room where there is an air conditioning
Live in Texas where it is usually hot. I have an office room that does not have a return air duct and that room is always hot in the summer months and difficulut to cool down. The ceiling is an a-frame and all closed in from the attic other then one wall. That is the wall with the a/c duct and is is located high near the top of the a-frame ceiling. Since cold air falls should I move the a/c vent down a couple of feet and then install the cold air return above it?

Since cold air sinks, the return should be at the floor level. Ceiling fans help a lot with A frames
