Well I'm a 24 year old female I'm not over weight, I exercise regularly and I eat fairly health. Sorry this is a bit long but I'll start from the beginning.

At the end of 2009 I had the mirena iud put in because my periods were so heavy and every thing has been fine since and I only ever got my period every few months.

So about 5 weeks ago I started to feel sick in the mornings and I didn't sleep properly so I went to the doctors and told him and he gave me sleeping pills and didn't really give a ****, I did have unprotected sex with my fiancé about 3 weeks before this so I took a pregnancy test and it was neagative but I was going over seas the week after so I just assumed I was nervous because I had never been over seas.

So the day we left I got my period and that was all normal, but once I was over seas I still felt sick but I was sleeping better and I was really hungry I took another test and it was negative, I had more unprotected sex, the sickness has stopped but the hunger has lasted 4 weeks and still continues.

Last night I started to feel really sick and I was in pain so I went to the toilet and my period came back which means there's a 4 week gap which has not happens since I got the IUD and I have never felt sick or in pain. Yesterday morning I got up and my period was like a blood clot later that day it stopped and so I didn't use a pad or tampon and there was still nothing this morning and I went to the toilet before and I wiped and it was a very light pink so I used a pad and there is still nothing in the pad. I am sort of worried and I can't see a doctor for a week, so what do you think is going on? Help me please I'm desperate

Pink discharge and blood clots can be a sign of a miscarriage. However this is just one possibility so I really recommend seeing your doctor as soon as possible, maybe set up an emergency appointment?
