Can I chose who's house I want to live at full time?
I'm 12 and my birthday is a few months away and I've heard that when I'm 13 I can choose who's house I want to live at full time. Mom or dads. I don't know if I can. My dad treats me like crap and starves me. And I want to live at my moms house all the time how can I do this? What do I have to do

No you can't choose. Only a court can determine who will have custody. If you want to live with mom, mom will have to file a petition in court to modify custody. The court may listen to your preference but will make the decision.

I doubt if your dad really starves you. But if you feel that way have a doctor check you out for malnutrition.

I am sorry you heard wrong. At 13 you may be able to testify in court, if your mom will file in court and ask for a change in custody and/or visits.
