    Custody
My ex currently has sole custody of our 2 children, and that's due to bad choices that I made, but now have all that behind me now. I currently get to see my kids for 6 hours 1 day a week, and it really kills me. So, my ex is being real difficult with me on giving me more visitation, and then tells the kids that the visitation modification, ( if my ex & I filled out the proper paper work with agreeing on more visitation then I have now) can't be changed with just filing the proper paper work, which isn't fair that he is lying about it. On top of all that, according to the decree the kids are supposed to be living with him, well I found out that they primarily live with my ex's mother in 1 city, and he lives in another city without the kids but the courts are thinking they are with him all the time. I want to know that question 1. If I were to get my ex to agree on visitation, all we would have to do is file the proper paperwork and wait for the judge to approve it, right? 2. Isn't there something I can do regarding the living situation with my kids, cause there should be no reason why I can't take care of them if he is unable, due to medical issues. PLEASE HELP!

So don't wait for him to agree to sign, you file motions in court asking for visits to be modified.
He has custody, the court does not know where the kids and he live, that is not court ordered, legally he may allow the kids to stay at his mothers, You can use that to ask for various changes, but it is not against court orders to allow them to be with his mother.

Your issue you are waiting on HIM to do or agree, he does not have to, you if you really want to change visits, takes him to court.
