I got my bottom lip pierced 2 wks ago.. at first the outside of it was really red and swollen but a friend of mine told me to soak it in a sea salt solution which helped... the redness is not as noticeable and the puffiness has gone down.. the only problem now is that some days ago after i had eaten and after rinsing my mouth with non-alcoholic mouthwash i felt there was something behind the plate of my piercing.. i looked and thought it was food tried cleaning it off with a paper towel an noticed it was just my lip!! It's a white bump rite on the base of my piercing in my mouth! I feel its grown a little since i first noticed it.. can sumone please help me! What should i do? After noticing the bump i started doing a saline soak after every meal and i soak it for at least 5 minutes.. no longer using the mouthwash.. brushing my teeth everyday. Will the bump go away? Is it infected? N e info will b greatly appreciated!! Thanks!

Try crushing an aspirin and add a drop or two of water to make a paste. Apply to bump for 15 minutes. Do this until bump is gone.

Take it out. Mines is doing the same thing and I don't think its normal, Or you could try doing what they suggested but MY ADVICE would be to just remove it or have it removed.
