    Well Pressure
A few weeks ago I had to replace my well submersible pump. I replaced it with a larger 220volt 1HP pump. The problem now is that I have no water pressure. I rewired the pump correctly for 220. My pressure switch is staying closed and the pump runs only a few seconds and then I suppose get hot and resets. I'm guessing that whatever is causing this is what burned up the old pump but I have found nothing to stop the water flow through the lines. Is it possible that my Pressure Tank has broken inside? I don't know how to check it but my pressure gauge only reads about 15 psi when the pump is running. Thanks for any help!

I would love to help but wells are not my forte. Does it have a check valve? Is your test gauge accurate? Can you get one that reads up to 200 pounds [psi]?
