    Can I sue my car dealer for not removing the lien on my title?
    I paid my last car payment in February 2012 and I went to the local DMV to attempt to purchase a duplicate of my title. I was advised that I have a lien on my title from the dealer I purchased my vehicle from and can not proceed in the process. The dealer will not give me the steps to remove them from my title to purchase a duplicate. If I can not sue, what should I do?

    Doesn't make sense. What do you need a duplicate title for? Why can't the DMV issue you a title with the lien noted? Also who financed the car loan? Most dealers don't do the financing themselves, so the lien should be from the lender not the dealer.
