    Chest x ray?
    My mother wants me to get a chest x ray because I have a terrible could and stuffy nose for a couple weeks now. I'm a little nervous because I have been smoking for about 8 months and my parents don't know. Please tell me honestly will it be visible in the x ray that I smoke?

    No, it will not be visible on the x-ray, but that could be why you are sick.

    If you are easy to get breathing problems, or other illness, smoking can help cause them to show up, last longer.

    Actually it may be the dentist that sees you are smoking first, from the smell on your breath and the yellowing of the teeth.
