Can a 60 Amp Panel feed a 100 Amp Panel?
I'm building a small studio which is approx. 550 feet from the main power pole panel. I was told by the electrical inspector for that distance I would need 1/0-1/0-1/0-2 aluminum wire. I'll be connecting this to a 60 amp breaker at the main pole panel. The trouble is... I'm not only having a hard time finding a small 60 amp panel for the new studio, the ones I did find would not accept that large wire size. Can I install a standard 100 Amp panel in the studio given that it's being fed off a 60 amp breaker at the main?

    Thank You

Yes. We often use a panel rated higher amps than the circuit breaker protecting that panel.
