    Hot water boiler
How to stop pilot on gas hot water heater from going out ? I even cleaned the filter but this did not help. Pilot stays light for about 15 minutes then goes out.

You have a bad thermocouple or dirty flame rod. See which one you have. The flame rod can be cleaned with 1000 grit sandpaper; if it has a thermocouple you must replace it with a universal kit available at any hardware store. Make sure only 3/8" of tip has flame on it.

I have a Hobart 600 automatic gas fired furnace. The first thing is I cannot see a circulater pump or a air tank. I can not tell if it is steam or hot water. When I go to fill the system with water, the system fills and then the water continues to flow out to the drain pipe.

The pressure seems fine on the boiler, but water comes out of the pressure release pipe. I have no idea when this happens, but it does not happen continually. How can I stop this from happening? I drained the tank, but this did not help.
