    What type of background check do airlines use
    Can anyone tell me if an expunged court case will show up on a background check for a position as a flight attendant.

    My case was expunged in 2007 in California.

    I keep getting differents from all areas.

    I believe since after 9/11 their searches fall under "national security" if it did and still does, yes it will show up. The issue is what and how does the application state. You are not required to report the explunged but be ready to explain it, if it shows up
