    Taking advantage of disabled person
Hello, my niece is 21yrs old and on disability apx ($600.00) a month very low IQ she and her boyfriend (also disabled however somewhat highter IQ went to a car lot with the car she owned and wanted to get another car the dealer sold her a car that she couldn't pay even the first payment on, $300.00 a month when paperwork was to be signed they told her her boyfriend he could not be in the room with her (he would have understood more than her and would know she couldn't make a $300.00 payment. I am wondering is this legal? I am going there today to see what I can do, any help here would be great

Not ethical but likely legal. If she can own a car and has the title then she must be competent to do business. Did she sign over the title to her old car in a trade in?
