About 6 months ago I had a terrible argument with my girlfriend over stupid things. In the heat of the moment I told her I didn't want to be with her anymore, the next day I apologised but she would not take me back. It's the 3rd time that I'd done this and there is no way I'm coming back. We had a holiday booked for 2 months later at first she would not go with me but then agreed also before the holiday she agreed to go a family wedding together. We had the most wonderful holiday ever and agreed to give it another go. When we got home the same stupid arguments kept happening again and I could feel her slipping through my fingers. 3 months after the holiday she told me that she needs time alone to find herself and that I should move on, she said that she hasn't been single since she was 16 she wants to have fun and not answer to anyone. She told me that she still loves me and is so confused and doesn't know whether she might want me back in 6 months time but that she thinks maybe I should move on because it's not fair on me she even suggested I should go out with some girl from my work who likes me.She still texts me a lot and wants to get a hotel room to have sex. She also said she wouldn't mind meeting up every month for a catch up. I'm so confused I want to let her go, I feel I need to otherwise I'm going to lose my mind but I can't. She's just booked a girls holiday and I sort of want her to go and have the best time and do everything she needs to then come back to me, but I feel this is just the one girl that got away.

She has made her decision, accept it and start moving on. It takes time, keep your mind busy, the more time goes by the less you still have those feelings. Under no circumstances should you communicate with her, this will only take you back.

She's made her decision to move on, its time for you to do the same. Go meet other girls, have fun too and leave her in the past. Work on your own life, if you can't stand being just the booty call for her. To recover, you will need to cut her out of your life and to focus on other things in yours.
