I don't know what to do any more. He has been distant from me for a few weeks now and we have dated for just over a year now. We haven't even slept together for over 5 weeks now. He keeps on making promises like everything will get better once this that or the other happens in his life but it only gets worse even when he gets what he wants. When I try to talk to him he overreacts and yells at me even when I'm not fighting and talking softly to him. When I try and make him laugh or smile just to get a positive reaction out of him, he fights with me. He treats my dogs better then he treats me. I am busy going mad with confusion because I don't know what to expect and I love him so much and don't want to lose him but lately I don't know why I'm in this relationship if it feels like I'm unwanted and that he doesn't want to be with me. Am I just in denial? Should I leave him? What should I do? I really don't enjoy having a broken heart but I need some advice... Please help me!

If you are unhappy, if he is not treating you as you should be treated and he won't even talk to you about, you should leave. Relationships should not be this complicated.

Sounds like he does not want to be the one to dump but wants you to dump him, some guys are stupid like that. If it is not getting better back away and don't contact him for a couple weeks and see how things are then.
