My Ex wife stepping over boundries
Please help me see if I am wrong? My daughter's step mom want to take control over things there has been many instances where she has wronged me quite a lot actually. One of them was the last and I won't allow anymore to pass. This is why I am writing here to see if I am wrong? The last incident was that she kept my daughter from me after I had allowed her to pick her up from school since my ex could not. She said my daughter was sick and I called to see how my daughter was doing next day and she kept her from me for two days saying she is fine. Come to find out she had her at her grandparents on that day I called her grandparents and found out they also lied to me that she was there and then came clean. No this is my delema she wants to go celebrate my daughter's b-day at her school with my ex and just threw it out there that they will do what they need to period. I don't see why after 6 yrs she now wants to do this. I don't see it right and she always finds ways to irriatate me with my daughter. This time I think I am the parent and I have a say at school. I will not allow this to happen due to one if they communicated with me in a good manner maybe but this is done through text and says we are one and we will do this together. Therefore this tells me is not about we are one is about just my daughter only. Tell me if I am wrong and let me know if I should do something

This is a legal forum, not a "relationships", "ethics", or something else forum.

So, the type of question we answer would be, "am I within my legal rights?"

If you have a child custody order, you can insist that your ex, and his wife, abide by the terms. Did they take or keep your daughter in "your time", as specified in the order, or not?

I need more info - is there Court Ordered custody? If so, who has custody? Her father?

It's not about the manner in which they communicate with you. It's about the law. Hurt feelings don't play into these situations.

If your "ex" and his wife are in violation of a Court Order go back to Court and ask that they be held in contempt. If they are not in violation but you don't like their behavior, go back to Court and get a new Order, more to your liking.

You don't want your daughter to celebrate her birthday at school with her classmates? Or am I reading you wrong?

They don't have to do what you want.
