    How do I receive medical care for my Lupus?
    I have lupus since 1984 and is without medical insurance, I can't afford to see my doctor and I need medication.

    Are you diagnosed or not? The criteria has changed over the years.

    Have you contacted the "Lupus Association" in your area OR the National Association - Lupus Foundation of America

    In my area, depending on the nature of your symptoms, the Kidney Association, Heart Association, etc. will help - the Arthritis Association is particularly active when it comes to assisting with Lupus-related symptoms.
