1989 Nissan hardbody won't start after it gets warm
I starts and runs fine when cold. Upon reaching regular running tempeture will run all day no prob. Turn it off and it
Will turn over and try 2 crank and shut down. If I pour a little gas in carb. Starts ever time and stays running. I disconnected fuel line from carb when she was warm and would not start, turned the key and fuel was pump well. Reconnected . No start without pouring gas in carb. I also changed fuel filter. Maybe pump gets weak when hot and once engine is made to run, could engine be helping pull fuel?

Sounds like the usual Nissan z24 knock/rough idle after cranking it on Monday at about 19-degrees and sounds like the head gasket finally gave in. Any tips out there on a speady recovery as I plan on doing...
