You should be scared. As far as what you should or should not do. What you need to do is see your doctor. You also need to talk to your parents. Implantation bleeding I hear about a lot but is not the usual case. There is no other way to tell if your pregnant or not until you get the test done, blood test are more accurate.

Your welcome, anytime. I am glad that you went to the clinic and that you are going back to get the tests done. Especially you being so young even older, periods tends to change as well. Especially with you being a teenager. Hormones can change your period. As well as pregnancy of course. Are you having any kinds of symptoms at all? Everybody is different. I hope everything works out for you, about your parents. Have they been talked to yet, or are you going to wait for the results?

Yep I know what you mean, thanks so much,it really does help to talk to someone abut it and get there opinions.
No I haven't yet spoken to my parents about it, I am going to wait and see what the result is,and then go from there, I haven't really experienced any other symptoms,I have been looking on the internet too see what the symptoms are and if I am experiencing any and all I really have experienced is the light bleeding and I suppose I have needed to go to the toilet a lot more and it says on the internet that urinating a lot more is a sign, and I have had headaches recently which is aparently another sign but I don't know weather its just me being paranoid.
Thanks for everything.

Let's just hope that you being paranoid is delaying your period. There are many dangerous effects to mother and baby if you are indeed pregnant at such a young age.
Stress can cause women to be late. You are also 15, so your hormones are still all out of whack, so that may have a lot to do with it too.
I wish you luck.

As someone who has been faced with teen pregnancy I want to encourage you to talk to your parents now. I was three months pregnant before I even realized that I could be (I had all three periods) and my parents were horrified but in the end they stood by me and now I have a six year old son who is the most important thing in my life. I was so scared to tell them I knew they would be disappointed and I was afraid that they would turn their backs on me but they loved me and helped me to be a good parent to him and I know that no matter what he does I will always love him and be there for him. I learned that from them so trust in your parents and tell them now so you will have all the support that you will need no matter how it turns out. And if you are not pregnant I think that you should consider getting on birth control so you don't have this kind of a scare again.

That's so sweet, if I am pregnant I want to do the same, I want to keep my child and I will bring it up just as well as any other mum I know I could do it, thanks for the advice and yes I will talk to my parents because I know they will stand by me, they will be there for me,its just so scary as you know, may I ask how old you were when you found out you were expecting a baby? Thanks for the advice.

.. oh and yes I am now on the combined pill, the doctor gave it to me when I went before, but I have not yet taken it because the doctor said that it would may damage the baby if I am pregnant, but obviously if I am not pregnant then I will begin too take the pill..

I am glad that you are going to talk to your parents, I know how scary the possibility is but in the end they will understand and be there with you. I was sixteen when I got pregnant and seventeen when I had him. He was and is the light of my life and don't be scared it is hard but you can still do all the things that you had planned for your life. Going to school and college and finding a great job and traveling. Life is pretty much the same except you have this very special person to share it all with. I don't promote teen pregnancy but if it happens I think that you should know that your life is not over you just have to share it with someone who looks to you for guidance and love. I hope the best for you and if you ever need to talk I will be here.

You are so right!. I am prepared to share my life with a child,to be honest I know it isn't ideal, but I doo want this baby,if I am pregnant anyway, because I know that I could bring a child up despite how old I am and as you said I could still doo what I wanted to doo and live my life I would just have to share my life with a child that meant the world to me.. all I am worried about is my exams and living in a house with my parents, because obviusly I am not old enough too move out,and I know that my mum and dad wouldn't mind me living here with a baby and I would probably need there help and advice sometimes anyway but its just my sister is pregnant at the moment, she is 19,and my mums still trying to work out weather my sisters going to live with us,because I have quite a big family and my house is pretty packed at the moment.. and I just would hate too add more pressure and stress ontoo my parents, and I want too take my exams and get good grades but I would give birth practically whilst my exams are going on.. and I don't really know what would be done about it.. do you have any idea what I would doo?. thanks for everything.. it helps so much talking to someone who has been in the same position.. sorry about all the questions..
Thanks xxx

If you are pregnant, I am sure that they would want you in the house so they could be sure that you and baby are safe. I think it would worry them more and be more pressure on them if you weren't living with them, where they could help you. Despite circumstances in the house, you are their child, I am sure that want to protect you and help in every way they can.As far as your exams go, typically first time mommies go over their due dates(in comparison to being right on or early. Its incredibly rare to be right on your due date) So you could end up going into labor a couple weeks after your exams, or before. However, I am sure that if you and your parents talk to the principle and teachers, you could work out a way for you to take your exams early, or working out a different schedule for you. Good luck.

Okay, before we go borrowing trouble, as in making plans on what to do about exams and where to live. We have to find out if you are indeed pregnant. If you are not, these added stressors are just going to delay your period even longer and maybe cause other stress related illnesses.
So, let's do it one step at a time.
First step: Find out if in fact you are pregnant. If not, nothing to worry about. If so, we move on to step 2.

Unfortunately the only guaranteed way to tell is a positive test result. Try this site for a good list of symptoms:- Early Pregnancy Symptoms

Hi Rosie,
I just want to wish you luck.
Having a child at any age is hard, 15 or 35 years old! But, having said that, it's not as hard as you'd imagine. Instinct takes over. The early months are hard due to sleep deprevation, but once that stage has passed it is a pure pleasure!
My only advice would be, please try to breast feed. Babies are born with very little in way of immunity and your breat milk gives them a good head start, then their little bodies copy the antiobodies! It's really miraculous! That is the tip of the ice berg... breat milk gives your baby such an amazing headstart...
GOOD LUCK!!

Thank you so much for your advice and support.. I went too the health clinic today and got a test done and it did in fact come back negative.. however because it is only 3 days after my period is due it isn't 100% accurate so they have advised me to go back in about a weeks time if I don't have a normal period before then.. but thanks for the advice and if I am pregnant then I will definitely breast feed.. I have always thought it was the better thing to doo especially for your baby.. thank youu so much and I will let you know if anything happened.. xxxxxx

I'm glad to hear that you seem to be an intelligent girl. I know it can be stressfull not knowing if you are pregnant or not. Especially at such a young age. I agree with the other posters here that you definitely need to talk with your parents about this situation. You may want to request a blood test from your doctor. It will give you more acurate results. Other than having a positive test you can't be sure if you are pregnant or not. For now try not to stress about it, which includes thinking about whether you are/aren't pregnant every second of the day. In the mean time, talk to your parents!

Hey,
I know how hard, scary and confusing it can be to be in this situation as I was once their myself whan I was 14. I know that after having unprotected sex a lot of things run through your mind. Now at 2 days before your period it is really hard to tell if you are pregnant or not because a missed period is usually one of the first signs. As for implantation bleeding I have never heard of it so I don't think you have anything to worry about there either. Also Period blood is not always a red colour, it can be brown too, and can last anywhere for 1-7 days depending on your body, mine never lasts the same amount of time every month. And at your age it is really common for you cycle not to be completely regulated yet depending on how old you were when it first came. My best advice would be to wait at least one week, if there are still no sighns or symptoms of your period coming then make an appointment to see either your family doctor, or if your not ready to let your parents know you are active then go to a planned parenthood or teen health clinic in your area and they will beable to help. And if all else fails you can always speak to a guidance counsillor at school that is what they are there for and they can be quite a good help in these situations.
I wish you the best of luck hun, and trust me things will work out one way or the other

Heloo xx..
That's so much for all that advice =)
It helpss having people to talk to about it all.. I will talk to my parents but its just hard because I think it will come as a shock.. as you probably well know as you were in this position at one point.. but may I ask.. did you tell your parents.. and if so.. what did you say?. sorry about all the questions but I just am really finding it hard to talk to my parents about all of this because I'm so young and they don't even know I'm sexualy active and they don't really get on with my boyfriend very well so that makes it even harder..
but what you said up there really put my mind at rest thanks so much.. I will go back to the clinic if I don't have a normal period in the next 7 days.. but maybe you are right.. I just thought at the time it couldn't of been a usual period because it wasn't like my regular ones but as you said.. at my age especially they can vary in colour and how long they go on for so I think evrythings OK.. thanks for all your help.. writee back if you can..
xXx
