    Not sure if I'm pregnant?
About a week before my period, my breasts were so sore! I remember waking up and I couldn't move because they hurt so much. A few days before that, I felt nausias and threw up in my mouth. I was also VERY tired. My period started the day it should, but it wasn't normal. There was brown mixed with the red. My periods usually start heavy then go lighter, but this time it was light (brown in color), heavy (red in color). Then light (brown in color) again. I also usually have very bad cramping the day of my period, but not with this one. I've had about every pregnancy symptom you can think of. But still a negative hpt. I don't know if it was implantation bleeding or if it was a normal period.
Also I am 16. My first period was when I was 12. I'm on a 29 day cycle... never missed a period, no birth control or anything. We used the 'pull out method.' That 'period' started on the 12th and ended on the 16th. I'm waiting tntil the 24th to take another test but I still think it's a little too early to tell.
    Helpppp :(

PMS and early pregnancy are very similar and easily confused.
You need to wait for a MISSED cycle before taking a test.

    Hi Stacy6,

CurlyBen is correct... just to add, decide on another form of birth control. Withdrawal method will likely result in a pregnancy sooner or later and at 16 you know yourself that you aren't ready to have and raise a child. The withdrawal method takes knowing your body very well, good control, and is often not used correctly. This is why it is not considered a highly reliable form of birth control, especially for someone where an unplanned pregnancy would really be a problem.

Your boyfriend should always, always use a condom before any penetration at all. These too are often not used correctly. For example, he can not enter you for a while, then pull out to put a condom on just before ejaculation. This can be too late.
It would be wise if you also used a form of birth control yourself along with the condom to lessen the chances of an unplanned pregnancy.

Keep in mind, that no form of birth control will be 100% effective, so you will still have a chance of pregnancy occurring.

You may want to rethink the sex for now until you are in a better position to take those chances.
